Charmed life for sure. Day one, plucked from his parents home attending school, he was touring stadiums. Parley that into one of the most influential and popular cutting edge bands. Al before he turned 25 or 26.

Covered two tickets, since back in the 70s, you take two chords and add this guy tommy g and ur in the twilight zone. This was back when you put your ear to the radio and just did the best you can.but being a music junky never reallY took the time to appreciate these guys whose contribution help to really shape the sound. Jimmy page, Eddie Van halen, Neil Schon greats no doubt, but this guy like a pioneer perhaps overshadowed by Eddie Money's unique voice were without a doubt a match made in heaven. You have to dig for Gold this guy let his fingers do the talkin, now that im older ive taken the time to learn and appreciate these guys and give them their due and apologize for the years i was in a coma and overlooked an icon. Thats about all i can say!

I saw Pantera in Dallas 2001 with Soulfly, Nothingface and I think the other was morbid angel. Was an awesome show you could feel the heat of the flames. I wish I can find videos of that show
